Insurer in Australia uses GPS in cars
On big Insurer in Australia started to plant GPS devices into cars upon request of car owners, so that they can track if kids are taking their cars and where they drive if they do. GPS allows to pinpoint location and time of the car using this technology. This works well with Australian "pay-as-you-drive" insruance policy.
