Disadvantages
I have read in an article that there's some kind of a problem with how GPS works. According to a magazine, the weakest signal that a cellphone works is 1,000 times stronger than a satellite of the GPS. Is it true?

Re: Disadvantages
I am not sure but if that is the case, how, then, does it help the Dept. of Defense or any other companies that use GPS?

Really? Oh, well. We must understand that GPS, like any other system, has its own limitations.

Re: Disadvantages
Another error in the functions of the GPS Technology is nature itself, Humidity also causes the system to malfunction and causes some delays retrieving needed informations.

Re: Disadvantages
Yeah, we can't actually expect it's perfect. But it's already a big help. Do you know if there are specific disadvantages for handheld devices?

Re: Disadvantages
There is a specific disadvantage in a handheld device Sinclair, like for instance, short-battery life, slow data transmission and screen freezing, the only way to prevent this kind of problems, is to thoroughly research for that specific unit that you'll be needing.
