It's not only you but many people with 750 have problem with satellite acquisition.

I would suggest you to go for 650 if you are really having problem with 750. The one which i have i.e 650 is working well and with great speed.

I think 650 will be wrong choice, I am using 650 for quiet long time, and most of the maps are not accurate and the unit is giving problems.

Its true, i agree with you ami I was quiet happy with it when i bought it but soon it started giving problem, the screen started freezing up, it was not allowing me to shut down, battery drain really horrible time with Nuvi 650....

I think the problem would have easily solved is you have pressed "RESET" button on the back, beneath antenna.

Yes, i know the problem would have been solved if i would have reset it, but i did'nt find any reset buttons at that time......stupid me.....
