Mercedes GPS update on DVD

I have Mercedes for two year now and need to update my built-in GPS navigator with new maps. I purchased Mercedes with it and dealer told me to purchase DVD with the updates directly from Mercedes but I am not so sure since GPS is not build by Mercedes and I probably need to contact my Mercedes GPS maker. Any ides?
